iPhone to support flash player?

Since its been announced that the iPhone will run a light version of OSX, that should mean that it includes a flash player. With a flash player, the iPhone can reveal thousands of new possibles for flash games. Lets hope that Apple doesn't cripple the iPhone and remove it.

Cisco vs Apple

As many of you already know, the original iPhone has nothing to do with an iPod. It was a VOIP kind of phone. Cisco owned the iPhone name and decided to sue Apple. Before Apple released the iPhone, they talked with Cisco but I guess things didn't come out well and now lets see who wins the legal the battle. I predict Cisco will since they seem to be right here but you never know what Apple has up their sleeves.

What do you think?

Make Your Own iPhone for Free!

Don't want to switch to Cingular?

$600 too much for an cellphone? Don't want to wait to get the new iPhone?

Here's a little hack to make your own...

Step 1. Print out the sophisticated blueprints from here.

Theres also another version here.

Step 2. Fold on the dotted lines and tape into a rectangle.

Step 3. Enjoy your free iPhone! If you want it to really work, just stick your ipod nano inside.

Feel free to make a couple for your friends too.

Cons of the iPhone

Here's my personal opinions of the downfalls of the new iPhone.

1. Looks kinda wide for a phone.

2. $600 even after a 2-year contract? This is very expensive for a cellphone that can easily be lost or stolen.

3. 8 GB with no expansion slots? That won't be able to replace iPods which have 20+ GBs of songs or videos.

3. It's a Cingular exclusive phone for the US. There will probably be some hacks to get it other carriers but it'll probably cost like $700+ for an unlocked phone without a contract.

4. No replaceable battery. The built in battery will eventually lose its efficiency after enough charges just like every other battery.

5. It doesn't have support for 3G.

6. The phone will only have whatever software Apple allows you to put on. It'll be limited like iPods most likely.

7. Touch screen might not be such a good idea for phones. Hopefully Apple will make sure the screen doesn't get all scratched up and the screen doesn't crack easily.

Interesting Features

What makes the iPhone so cool?

1. Touch screen.

2. Connectivity: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, EDGE

3. It runs OSX as the operating system.

4. 2.0 MP camera.

5. Full featured Safari Web Browser that can display html.

The iPhone is pretty much an all in one that can replace your mp3 player, your cellphone, your digital camera, and (somewhat) even your computer.

Estimated Cost?

The cost of the new iPhone is going to be about $599 for a 8gb version.
