Palm is planning to release the Palm Pre on the Sprint network. The Pre will cost $199 with a 2 year contract which compares very closely with the iPhone. The advantage that the Pre has over the iPhone is in plan costs. Sprint data and calling plans are much cheaper than AT&T's.
